AI Provider Disclosure

Tsunu AI routes your prompts to one or more third-party AI providers to generate responses from the platform's assistants. This page lists every provider currently in use, what data is transmitted to them, and how each handles that data.

How We Route Prompts

When you interact with a Tsunu AI assistant, your prompt — along with any relevant context from your Vault — is sent to an AI provider to generate a response. The primary provider is Anthropic. In the event of a service disruption or timeout, requests may be automatically routed to OpenAI as a fallback to maintain availability. You will not notice any difference in the response format when this occurs.

Neither provider receives your Vault data beyond what is included in the active prompt. Neither provider uses API inputs to train their models without an explicit, separate agreement.

Current AI Providers

Anthropic

• Role: Primary AI provider for all assistants
• Model family: Claude (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus)
• Data processing: Prompts and outputs are processed by Anthropic's API infrastructure, hosted in the United States.
• Training use: Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models without an explicit agreement. Tsunu AI has not entered into any such agreement.

OpenAI

• Role: Fallback AI provider (used automatically on Anthropic service disruption)
• Model family: GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini
• Data processing: Prompts and outputs are processed by OpenAI's API infrastructure, hosted in the United States.
• Training use: OpenAI does not use API inputs to train its models by default. Tsunu AI has not opted into any model training programs.

What Data Is Transmitted

When a prompt is sent to an AI provider, the following may be included:

• The text you typed into the assistant
• Relevant Vault context that you have made active for the session
• System instructions that define the assistant's role and format

We do not transmit your name, email address, billing information, or account credentials to AI providers. Vault data is only included when you have an active context entry selected.

Data Hosting Geography

All AI processing by Anthropic and OpenAI occurs on infrastructure hosted in the United States. Tsunu AI's own servers are also hosted in the United States.

Changes to This List

We will update this page whenever we add or remove an AI provider. Material changes will also be reflected in our Privacy Policy. If a new provider is added, we will notify users by email at least 14 days in advance.
